What can Octave Horn Antennas do?
This antenna is appropriate for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and antenna measurement as a transmitter. It can be used for calibration systems, and antenna test systems can be applied to reflective antenna feeds and support various mobile communications. With this antenna, the user can use dual-band GSM and DCS frequencies, a wireless receiver to ensure quality video, and being used for satellite searching and positioning while the original video signal is being transmitted.
What are the characteristics of Multi Octave Horn Antennas?
Multi-Octave Horn Antennas deliver fantastic performance over the frequency range of 1GHz to 2GHz. This antenna comprises three sections: feed, double-ridged waveguide, and radiating horn. The antenna feed includes a connector followed by a coaxial cable and a cavity at the end of the waveguide. The inner coaxial cable conductor (Electrical field probe) passes through a hole in the upper ridge and connects to the lower ridge. The flares in the waveguide act as sectoral E-plane horns, and there are two wedges between the flares. The radiating antenna section is a pyramidal horn that matches the double-ridged waveguide to free space. This section is designed to achieve appropriate gain and low return loss. It has the characteristics of easy excitation, relatively simple fabrication, high gain and directivity performance, and high peak power handling capability. There is a guarantee of about 15dBi bandwidth gain over the entire band. The ordinary Horn Antennas could not provide stable gain over more than one round. Octave Horn Antennas could, however, be solved with a steady gain in the dual frequency band. A suitable taper for the ridges in the horn is designed, and its impedance variations along the horn are shown. Also, we provide rich and accurate test data, including antenna direction coefficients, Gain, VSWR, and direction maps, which you can input into your system for testing. The weight of the entire antenna is only 3.2kg, thanks to the ultimate weight reduction structure. The antenna supports Linear polarized waveforms.

Description
The RFecho Multi Octave Horn Antenna OBH-1020-15 is a broadband antenna that offers excellent performance over the frequency range from 1 GHz to 2 GHz. The input handling capability high gain of 15dBi, Low VSWR 2, cross-polar isolation of 50dB, and up to 10 watts make this horn antenna an excellent general use performer.
Multi Octave Horn Antenna offers a very low VSWR in its nominal frequency range and very broad bandwidth. The increasing gain with frequency helps to compensate cable losses. RFecho Multi Octave Horn Antenna has an impedance of 50. The antenna supports Linear polarized waveforms.
