The OTY0618P30 solid-state power amplifier covers 6 GHz to 18 GHz in continuous-wave operation, taking an input of ≥0 dBm up to an output of ≥45 dBm (30 W), with harmonic suppression ≤ −15 dBc and spurious suppression ≤ −60 dBc. A 7-bit digital step attenuator provides ≥30 dB of attenuation control in steps of ≤0.25 dB. It runs from +28 V DC, drawing ≤10 A (≤280 W), and includes enable control, CAN bus communication, over-temperature, over/under-voltage, and over-current self-protection and fault reporting. Housed in a 300 mm × 150 mm × 40 mm, ≤2.4 kg module with external auxiliary forced-air cooling, it operates over −40 °C ~ +60 °C.
