Description

The OBH-230 Dual-Ridged Horn Antenna, a flagship product from RFecho, is engineered for superior performance across a wide RF frequency spectrum. This broadband antenna ensures consistent signal strength with its stable gain and low VSWR, providing optimal power transmission and superior signal integrity. Its excellent design effectively suppresses higher-order modes, delivering clear and precise signals even in challenging RF environments. The lightweight construction, combined with robust features, makes it ideal for applications requiring mobility and field deployments.

The OBH230 is crafted with precision, offering features such as a precision pin for accurate polarization alignment and a high-reliability coaxial connector. Its versatile mounting options include a mounting flange and an integrated coaxial transition with a high-precision connector, making it adaptable to various setups.

With all the above benefits, it is ideal for a variety of demanding applications. Firstly,
It is highly suitable for TV broadcasting, where over-the-air television signals operate in lower frequency bands, as well as other broadcast services. In the realm of cellular communications, this antenna supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, leveraging lower frequencies in GSM, UMTS, and LTE technologies for robust cellular network coverage. On top of that, this antenna covers both Very High Frequency (VHF) and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) bands, making it an essential tool for various communication and broadcasting services. It's also commonly used in EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing, ensuring equipment performance in the lower frequency range. Additionally, it supports RF testing for IoT devices and LPWAN communications like LoRa, Sigfox, and NB-IoT, which operate at these lower frequencies. In the domain of wireless communication, the 0.2GHz to 3GHz antenna is effective for testing systems like Wi-Fi (2.4GHz band) and Bluetooth, making it a versatile tool for RF applications across different industries .Dual-Ridged Horn Antenna:https://www.rfecho.com/product-category/emc-antenna/emc-broadband-dual-ridged-horn-antenna/More RF Antennas.

  1. 5 out of 5

    Mark Thompson

This OBH-230 dual ridged horn antenna works flawlessly for our EMC compliance testing lab. Its stable 6-15dBi gain across 0.2-3GHz delivers consistent signal output, and the typical VSWR of only 1.5:1 eliminates signal reflection issues we had with older antennas. High power handling up to 1000W supports long-hour continuous testing, and the single main lobe radiation pattern makes our measurement data far more accurate and repeatable.

We purchased this ultra-wideband horn antenna for RF radiation emission testing. The gain performance is uniform throughout the full frequency band, no obvious fluctuation at low or high frequencies. Low VSWR brings much cleaner test curves, and its high cross polar isolation effectively avoids measurement interference. Every unit comes with independent calibration, which saves us extra calibration costs for our test bench.
